Each class has a set of skills that are unique to that class; however, there are many different mastery skills that are available to every class. One Holy Knight player can be drastically different from the next Holy Knight player depending on the mastery skills he chooses to learn.

Each mastery skill will grant a special effect depending on whether or not you are wielding a weapon that corresponds to the mastery. For example, if you have learned level 1 dagger mastery you will receive a greater bonus while using a dagger and a lesser effect if you are using any other weapon type.
